Amagi Kogen

Located high in the Amagi Highlands at about 1,000 meters above sea level, Amagi Kogen Golf Course offers a refreshing mountain golf experience in the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Designed by Seiichi Inoue and opened in 1965, this 18-hole, par-72 championship course (about 6,800 yards from the back tees) features wide fairways, smooth Pencross bent-grass greens, and excellent practice facilities. Golden Kawana

Located at the foot of Mt. Omuro in Izu, Golden Kawana Golf Club offers an inviting 18-hole, par-72 layout surrounded by stunning coastal and mountain scenery. The fairways are wide and the greens forgiving, making it friendly for beginners while still enjoyable for seasoned players. One of its special features is that golf carts are allowed on the fairways, ensuring a relaxed and comfortable round. Shuzenji

Established in 1958 and designed by Seizo Tomizawa, Shuzenji Country Club boasts a rich legacy as one of Izu’s classic mountain courses. Its elevation changes, doglegs, and cliff-side holes demand strategic play and careful club selection. The course features a well-equipped practice range—spanning 220 yards with green, approach and bunker areas—for honing your skills  . With fairly wide fairways that contrast challenging terrain, this course blends tradition with terrain. Just be mindful of potential OB zones as elevation shifts and layout quirks can surprise even seasoned players.
